Description
Rochdale is famous as the birthplace of the cooperative movement. The original shop which was established by the group of local people who became known as the Rochdale Pioneers, still stands on Toad Lane in Rochdale.
The shop is now an excellent museum and the modern extension to the side has added accessibility and facilities.
This postcard is printed from one of my own photographs, in monochrome (black and white) of the Cooperative Museum on Toad Lane taken on a lovely sunny day.
