Description
Thinking Too Much is my first collection of poetry.
The book includes 34 poems which invite the reader to think about life, family, nature, politics, justice, peace and society. There are moving memories, human stories, powerful images and touches of humour. The title arises from my tendency, like most creative people, to consider our world in great detail, perhaps “Thinking to much”.
James Nash, one of Yorkshire’s best regarded poets, wrote; “Seamus Kelly’s poetry is the poetry of journeys and places. Sometimes that place is the past and sometimes it is where nature and people intersect. But always it is written with a kind of passionate precision, and with great humanity.”
The book consists of 56 pages of poetry plus introduction and end pages and is perfect bound in a matt cover.
